The winter months can be a little tough on dating budgets. Whilst going out for dinner and drinks is great, the costs of it can soon add up. Luckily, there are plenty ways to have a romantic and memorable date without breaking the bank.

01: Make memories ice skating
Now that the weather is getting chilly, what better date than ice skating? Holding hands on the ice could be a cute date or funny date. One thing is for sure, you'll fall head over heels for this one!
02: Bake something tasty!
Winter is a great time to enjoy a variety of festive sweet treats. You could spend an evening making some delicious snacks to share with your friends and family. You could make cookies or mince pies, whatever your heart desires.
03: Take a stroll
Why not put on your favourite coat and go for a walk? You could even take a romantic picnic with you! Explore the natural beauty of the season with your partner. We highly recommend visiting your local National Trust park to do this, during the festive season many of them have Christmas lights and illuminations too.
04: Binge watch the classics
Picture this – wrapped up in a blanket on the sofa, candles on, and back-to-back Christmas films on the screen. We all have our favourite one, but maybe you could watch a variety of oldies and new releases this year?
05: Enjoy a toasty fire
Such a winter cliché – but such a romantic and cheap date idea. Light up a warm fire and roast some marshmallows with your significant other. Perhaps you could take it in turns telling each other about your hopes for the future? Who knows, maybe you’ll end up planning a lifetime of adventures together!
